Bio for Bev Scott

Bev has used her consulting experience in the private, public and volunteer sectors for over 30 years offering a wide range of consulting services. She served fifteen years as the Director of Organization and Management Development for McKesson Corporation. Before joining McKesson, she worked as a both an internal and external consultant. She brings clarity, focus, integrity and a sense of purpose to her work.

Her current focus is creating her own Third Act as well as supporting others over 50 to design the next stage of their lives with meaning, fulfillment and fun. Bev offers Third Act coaching and weekend workshops. She also offers coaching to organizational leaders and internal and external consultants.

Bev is dedicated to making a contribution to the community. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Horizons Foundation and offers consulting and coaching for non-profit organizations.

Bev is author of the ASTD best seller, Consulting on the Inside: An Internal Consultant's Guide to Living and Working Inside Organizations. She has authored several articles, many of which are available on this website (See "Publications"). She served as editor of Vision/Action, the professional journal for the Bay Area Organization Development Network for five years. She has been active in both the local and national OD Network, including serving as Chair of the National Board of Trustees.

She has presented her work a the professional conferences of the Organization Development Network, the American Society for Training and Development, Global Business and Technology Association, Institute of Management Consultants and the Association of Internal Management Consultants. Bev served as core faculty member for the Organizational Psychology Master's program at John F. Kennedy University. She has Masters degrees in Sociology and in Human Resource Development and has completed doctoral course work at the University of Michigan.
